The HDMI 1.3 over CAT6 transmitter, receiver and extender allow for extending your HDMI signal over long distances to a compatible display. Instead of using expensive HDMI cables, your existing CAT6 cables/sockets can be utilised to transfer Full HD 1080p Deep Colour (12 bits/colour) video and lossless compressed (Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio) digital audio. It allows you to extend up to 45 metres at 1080p/8-bit resolution using a cat 6 cable between a transmitter and receiver..

Cable testing showed that with 1080p 8 bit resolution the HDMI input/output source can be 15 metres away.
