An open frame 12RU 19” rack system designed for wall mounting equipment up to 300mm deep. Ideal for combinations of patch panels, security and audio equipment. The flat mounting plates can be attached to the wall surface using standard fasteners. This 12RU rack can be mounted to the wall in a server room, office, or above a doorway, expanding your workspace and keeping your equipment easily accessible.Dimensions: 598W x 624H x 308Dmm. Constructed from 1.5mm black powdercoated steel, these 19” racks are ideal for communications, public address and IT server rooms. The design offers both the option of wall mounting or floor standing as desired. Each package includes a rack frame, tempered glass front door, removeable rear and side panels, top and bottom panels. The front door and side panels are lockable. Front door can be rotated to open from left to right, or right to left. Provision for cooling fans in top. Design includes plenty of ventilation to keep equipment cool. For floorstanding installations H 5296 optional caster set may be fitted for added mobility. There are two series to choose from, 450mm deep for audio equipment or 600mm extra deep for communication and computer equipment.Rack frames:These extruded aluminium rack frames are finished in Black to match most equipment. Equipment can be mounted from the front or rear as all uprights are fully punched. Matching panel sets are also available separately (Comprising of 2 sides & a top panel). Provision has been made for optional castors to simply snap-fit if required. This makes it very simple to move the rack.Rack Frame Doors:Matching doors are available constructed from folded steel with or without a clear perspex panel. All models are provided with two key locks except the 9U models which are provided with a single key lock.Assembly:Each rack frame is supplied complete with 12 custom extruded aluminium sections and 8 ABS corner connector pieces. The sections and corner pieces simply push-fit together. A rubber or wooden mallet is recommended to fit together the self aligning pieces. Further strength can be obtained by pop rivetting the various overlapping extruded sections if desired. Rack doors are fixed to the rack frame by using pop rivets or screws. These lockable perspex doors may be mounted on the front or rear of the rack. Note, a pop-rivet gun is required for attaching door to the rack frame.
